Meeting Held about the Deployment and Docking of the Library’s New Generation Service Platform

On the morning of November 11, 2022, the meeting about the systemetic deployment and docking of the new generation service platform was held in the library. Leaders from the Campus Card Management Center, Network Management Department, Information Management Department and Jiangsu Huiwen Software Co., Ltd. attended the meeting and had in-depth discussion. Mr. Zhou Caihong, curator of the library, Mr. Zhang Yan, Mr. Lu Yong, deputy curators, and other members of the related departments took part in the meeting at the same time. The meeting was hosted by Lu Yong.

The new generation library service platform will integrate diverse library resources, realize the integration of resource management, provide multi-dimensional and personalized services for the readers, so as to comprehensively improve the document information resources and guarantee the services. At the meeting, the engineers from the Jiangsu Huiwen Software Co., Ltd. made a full presentation of the characteristics and advantages of the new platform first. Then the participants carried out deep exchanges about system docking, unified identity authentication and the core business and needs of the library.

According to the plan, the new generation library service platform will be deployed and tested during the winter vacation, and officially applied in the following semester. The application will further improve the comprehensive capabilities in the library's scientific research service, subject security, reader service, and resource construction.
