Regulations on the use of Library Information Commons
I.Information Commons code
IC consists of science and technology experience area, academic exchange area, reading salon area (Star Pavilion), seminar room (Qiushi Pavilion, Zhilai Pavilion), self-carrying computer using area, electronic reading area, multimedia creation area, self-regulated learning area, etc. The use of the Information Commons shall comply with the national laws,the relevant rules and regulations of the university. The information commons are only provided for the study and research to all the teachers and students of the university, and shall not be used for any commercial purposes.
To enter the information commons, you need to make an appointment in advance. If the appointment is successful, please log in to the system to delete the appointment in advance if you can't swipe the card (or face) to check in (within 30 minutes before the appointed time), otherwise, the account will be treated as violation of the rules then the account cannot make an appointment within one week.
1. Please use the allocated space and facilities according to the reservation. The library has the right to terminate the use of the users who violate the regulations or do not follow the advice.
2. Please take good care of all facilities in the Information Commons and standardize the use of equipment and software. If you find any equipment failure or other questions in the information commons, please contact the management personnel immediately and do not handle them without authorization. Otherwise, the machine damage or software damage caused by this must be compensated accordingly.
3. When using electronic resources, please abide by the regulations on the protection of intellectual property and prohibit malicious downloading.
4. For better reading experience, please do not bring too many items into the room. It is strictly forbidden to take off shoes, sleep soundly, make loud noise, chase, do not enter the IC in flip-flops; pick only one book each time, "books possession" is not advocated, please return the book to original position after reading; take good care of the books and facilities in IC, and bear corresponding compensation if daubing, carving or damaging. Readers should consciously maintain clearness and tidiness in it, do not carry food or drink into the study room, and water sprinkling and paper littering are strictly prohibited.
5. Readers should take good care of public facilities and should not move tables and chairs at will without permission.
6. Take good care of personal belongings such as books, backpacks, etc., please ensure you take all of them away with you when leaving.
7. No fires. Pay attention to the safety in use of water and electricity.
II.Rules for the use of the seminar rooms
1. All the teachers and students on campus have access to the seminar rooms, but they are mainly for the teams of 6 members or above. Teachers and students should make an appointment if they want to use it. When making an appointment, they need to display the specific topic and content of the seminar (15 words or more), the seminar rooms could be used after appointment was approved;
2. If the appointment application needs to be canceled in appointment scheduled after the appointment, it is necessary to log in to the system in advance to delete the appointment. All members registered during the appointment must swipe their cards (face swipe) within half an hour from the beginning of the appointment period. Otherwise, the appointment will be recorded as abreach of rules and can not make another appointment within a week;
3. After entering the workshop, check whether there are problems in the indoor facilities, report to the management personnel in time if there are any problems. If problems are found when leaving the workshop, corresponding responsibilities shall be taken;
4. Abide by the regulations of the library, obey the arrangement of the management personnel, the management personnel have the right to terminate the use right of those who violate the rules and do not follow the advice;
5. Take good care of all kinds of indoor facilities, and do not take indoor articles out of the room without authorization; standardize the use of equipment and software. In case of any abnormal situation, please contact the management personnel immediately and do not handle it without authorization. Otherwise, the machine damage or software damage caused by this must be compensated according to the original price;
6.It is forbidden to use electricity illegally or smoke;
7. keep quiet. Please go outside to answer or make phone calls;
8. Keep the room clean and tidy. Do not bring food into the room . Do not spit or litter;
9. IC seminar rooms are only used for learning exchange and academic discussion between teachers and students. It is strictly prohibited to engage in any commercial activities, illegal activities or other purposes in the room. At the same time, it is not allowed to occupy the seminar room as a study room. Once found, the appointment will be disqualified;
10. After the discussion, please restore the original appearance of the workshop and turn off equipment.
